At the SEMA show in Las Vegas, Pontiac confirmed what we told you back in February: The General Motors division will expand its racing program in 2005 when two factory-backed, Pratt & Miller-built Pontiac GTOs will enter the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series (AW, Feb. 16). "We've found the right type of racing venue to demonstrate the performance capabilities of the Pontiac GTO,'' said Doug Duchardt, GM Racing director.
