Respondents believe the Honda Ridgeline will be a contender in the market but will not win over purists. Hard-core pickup owners won't be swayed, but the Ridgeline is its own beast. Instead of targeting the truck market head-on, Honda is aiming at the fringe of the segment. The Ridgeline will find success by being fun, quirky and utilitarian.
