Byline: Joe Kovach Halfway through our yearlong stewardship of a Volkswagen Phaeton, spring arrived-by the calendar rather than the start of mild weather. Though our long stretch of wintry weather did not faze the stately Phaeton, parts of the driving experience fazed some among us. The main gripe continues to be the computer command center in the middle of the dashboard, with buttons and knobs to operate systems such as audio, climate control, navigation and trip data.
