Cosworth Racing, which will lose its deal with Red Bull Racing at the end of this season, will be in Formula One in 2006. However, Cosworth still has to find a customer for its new 2.4-liter V8, which is already on the test bed in Northampton. The rules allow teams to stay with 3.0-liter V10 engines for the 2006 season only, subject to a weight penalty, and Minardi has signed a new contract this week to continue with Cosworth's 3.0-liter.
