BAR-FIA SMACKDOWN.(Competition)(BAR-Honda Formula One team)

The FIA still has its knives out for the BAR-Honda Formula One team. After banning the Honda team from the Spanish and Monaco Grands Prix (AW, May 16) for not being able to prove its car had not raced underweight at Imola, the FIA is now threatening to impose a fine if it decides the team did anything to bring F1 into disrepute.

After the team was banned BAR CEO Nick Fry was quoted as saying the decision had been "contrary to all the evidence heard'' and that the two-race ban was "wholly and grossly disproportionate.'' Fry's comments ticked off the FIA. So the FIA ...
