My how things change. The Goodwood Festival of Speed, Lord Charles March's little garden party for a few of his friends, has grown since 1993 into a historic racing extravaganza attracting 150,000 spectators per day over three days. The festival, ostensibly a hillclimb, uses the front yard and driveway of Goodwood House, ancestral home of the Earl of March, known simply as Charley to his pals.
