Overrating the Explorer? In "Protecting Turf'' (Aug. 15), J.P. Vettraino not only gives the new Ford Explorer high marks, but also gives Ford credit for being first to introduce many risky features to the domestic SUV market. One could bicker over what defines domestic, but last I checked the Mercedes-Benz M-Class is assembled right here in the USA.
