That's brilliant, Bob "When I first got here and was looking at LaCrosse, [sales, service and marketing vp] Mark LaNeve said, `Doesn't it need portholes?' I was aghast. `Portholes are old-school,' I said. I was absolutely against making that [design] statement. Then I went to the auto show where they revealed the Maserati Quattroporte, came back and said, `Portholes on all Buicks!''' -GM product czar Bob Lutz, on why the new Buick Lucerne has portholes while its stablemate, the LaCrosse, does not.
