Byline: BILL McGUIRE Some may wonder what all the fuss is about. The winner of the Ridler Award, top prize at the annual Detroit Autorama, collects a jacket, a new GM Performance crate engine and a check for $10,000. And there's a nice trophy, too. Not bad, but it hardly seems worth the extremes hot rodders will go to in order to win.
