It was, someone quipped, almost like a crewman had nailed Tony Stewart with one of those James Bond-type tranquilizer darts. How else to explain the two-time and defending NASCAR champion's laid-back reaction to missing this year's Chase for the Cup? Stewart was eighth in points going into the Chevy Rock & Roll 400.
