ALFA ROMEO RETURNS TO LE MANS.(Competition)

Alfa Romeo will end a three-decade absence from the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2008. The Italian manufacturer revealed it will develop its forthcoming 8C sports car into a GT2 racer. Alfa president Antonio Baravalle made a brief reference to the project at the end of a speech at the Bologna motor show in December but did not confirm details.
