Saleen minus Saleen Steve Saleen resigned May 14 from the company that bears his name and which he founded 24 years ago. His chief engineer of nine years, Billy Tally, also resigned. Official word is that both will remain involved in the company and will influence future products, though insiders suggest that increasing frustration at being sidelined by new management led to the departures.
