Alex Gurney and Jon Fogarty left Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with everything but the Grand-Am Daytona Prototype championship lead. The duo led practically every lap and scored a nearly 32-second win over points leader Scott Pruett. The Grand Touring class also saw a dominating performance by Andy Lally, who led by 38 seconds before a series of late yellows bunched the pack.
