WILSON: It's hard to see the vehicle for the features anymore. Even before we took it Christmas shopping, the interior of the Town & Country looked as if someone had been on a spending spree at Best Buy. There are DVD screens everywhere and Xbox plugs and power door openers all around and "infotainment'' out the yooha, but underneath it all, there's a minivan.

It turns out to be a pretty good one. The 4.0-liter is strong enough for the load but doesn't seem absurdly powerful-with all that heft, it's got a lot of work to do. And in the foot of snow that fell on New Year's Day, it performed perfectly, the traction control and ABS keeping the vehicle sure-footed and happy whether on ice, deep snow or something in between.
