In all of the marketing monotony about the ever-growing crossover sport/utility segment, it is sometimes forgotten that a few of these things really can go off-road.
You might not think the civilized and practical Subaru Forester would be one of them, but Subaru wagons were bashing over snow-covered logging roads long before the "crossover SUV'' was invented.
