At the Paris motor show, the buzz centers on the Ferrari 456 GT (also in Paris: Renault Twingo and BMW M3).
Heading up a long, strong auto-show parade at Detroit are the Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray III, the Oldsmobile Anthem (identified as a Cutlass Supreme for the future) and the Pontiac Salsa.
Chrysler unveils three production LH-platform cars-Chrysler Concorde, Dodge Intrepid, Eagle Vision-as well as a new Dodge Viper. BMW shows its latest 3 Series Coupe, and Mercedes-Benz unveils its 600SEC. Ford debuts the all-new Probe and the Mercury Villager minivan.
