Byline: Jeffrey Gaunt Daily Herald Staff Writer Two years after a heated debate over bus privatization in Community Unit District 300, the school board on Monday made good on a promise to the bus drivers union. The board awarded 4 percent raises to their transportation employees, ending a two-year salary freeze put in place to cut costs in lieu of privatization.
