Thank you to those who helped after fire To the editor: There are times in life that disaster may strike and one may wonder how would you handle it. Well, our time had come on Aug. 2 when our home of 36 years caught fire and was completely destroyed. How did we handle it? Thanks to the tremendous support of all our neighbors, friends, and the police and fire departments, we were able to get through the initial shock of losing all of our possessions and memories in less than an hour.
