Larkin's McKenna named all-American.(Sports)

The accolades continue to roll in for Larkin's Ryan McKenna. The Arizona State-bound senior center fielder was recently named a preseason high school All-American by Collegiate Baseball magazine. The Jan. 8 issue named McKenna as one of the country's top 50 high school players. "We knew it was coming out last month and I was hoping maybe there would be a chance," said McKenna, who has already drawn interest from a myriad of Major League baseball teams.
"It's been a lot of fun lately. It all seems like a dream." McKenna, a member of the Illinois Royals, was one of six players on the summer traveling team to draw recognition from the magazine.
