To quote Jill Marshall, it's more about will than muscle. That's the reason many said they came out Sunday to compete in an indoor triathlon in Glen Ellyn. Nearly 200 athletes went for their personal best in the first leg of the 2000 Midwest Indoor Tri Classic Series. They swam, they ran, they biked.

They also raised money for a good cause. All profits go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. In its eighth year, the series has netted $100,000 to battle the disease. The triathlon, held at Health Trac Sports Wellness, is less grueling than most so it allows athletes of varying skills to participate. "We have a lot of different levels and it gets very competitive," said Deanna Taylor, a personal trainer at the center who coordinated the mini-triathlon....
