Streamwood tan salon creates beach ambience.(Business)

When walking into a new Streamwood business, you may think you're strolling along the beach. That's the imagery the owners are hoping for in launching No Tan Lines, a tanning salon at 31 S. Sutton in the Emerald Hills Shopping Center. Images of beach chairs, waves, clouds and cabanas decorate the tanning spa that opened in January at the intersection of Schaumburg Road and Route 59.
"It's light and airy with a clean, friendly atmosphere," said co-owner Bruce Wood. The business features nine tanning machines ranging from 50-lamp stand-up booths with facial tubes to a new solar tanning bed that uses darkening rays.
