Wolves get wake-up call from Aeros.(Sports)

Chicago, we have a problem. The defending Turner Cup champion Houston Aeros, behind a swarming defense, terrific play in goal, and a surprising 4-goal outburst in the second period, stunned the Wolves and a crowd of 5,132 by rolling to an easy 5-0 victory Wednesday night at the Allstate Arena.

The Aeros will take a 1-0 lead into Sunday's Game 2 of the best- of-seven Western Conference finals. After toying with Long Beach in the conference semifinals, the Wolves were on the receiving end this time, getting stymied time and again by the league's top defense and co-MVP goaltender, Frederic Chabot.
