Lucent, U.S. Cellular sign pact NAPERVILLE - Lucent Technologies Inc. said Monday it signed a $15 million contract with U.S. Cellular Corp. to supply Wireless Intelligent Networking hardware and software. U.S. Cellular will use the equipment to develop enhanced services for its 3 million mobile customers.
Chicago-based U.S. Cellular said the new service capabilities will help it boost customer satisfaction. Lucent, a telecommunications equipment maker, has operations in Naperville and Lisle.
