THE BRIEFS 'Whoosh Witch' road rally set for Oct. 29 in Schaumburg The Brand X Halloween gimmick road rally, "Whoosh Witch," is set for Oct. 29. The rally will start at Woodfield Shopping Center just west of the Firestone Tire Center on Golf Road (parking area B2). Registration will open at 11:30 a.m.

For first-timers and beginners, there will be a free rally school at noon. Awards will be presented to the adult and child with the best costume and the best Tricker-Treater (stunts played along the course).
