Ruth P. Nutting of Libertyville for 40 years Funeral services for Ruth P. Nutting, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at First Presbyterian Church, Maple and Douglas avenues, Libertyville. Born June 26, 1922, in Columbus, Ohio, she passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at her home. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery following the services.

Mrs. Nutting had been a resident of Libertyville for the past 40 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville. She was a 1943 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Va., earning a degree in biology, and early in her career taught school part time in Long Island, N.Y.
