RE: Zion man gets prison for fatal crash.(News)

My name is Benjamin Lawfer. I would like to set the story straight... That summer night 9 yrs ago, I had been drinking. Not to the point where I was drunk, but a littte buzz. As I turned left onto the back road off of Wadsworth I was cruising at a calm speed of 30. As I came up to the 1st intersection, I see know stop or yield sign, So I assume that the other side has at least a yield sign...NOT THE CASE!!! A speeding car or pick-up is heading right for me!! Traveling at 50+ mph. I drop my bike down into 2nd gear and punch it to avoid the reckless driver. I just avoid the vehicle and get up to a speed of at least 50mph and shifted back into 3rd gear and turned to watch the vehicle flying threw the intersection. I turned my head back to the road in front of me and there was know lights or any visual passed 15-20ft. I see the road is coming to a end and slam on the brakes.. I launched off that cliff going a good 30mph and the rest of the story is a tough pill to swallow. But, I had to leave this comment to tell the truth what happened that night since I never had the chance to tell it in court....I feel terrible what happend and wish I could go back... I was a kid that didnt value much. So, I'm sorry and god bless.
