Byline: Michael Levine Daily Herald Staff Writer The state will be picking up an estimated $100,000 bill for the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District to have gasoline cleared from its Dundee Road station. Spill cleanup needs to happen to prepare for the start on March 1 of a 10-year partial consolidation contract between the fire district and the village of Palatine, and to meet Illinois Environmental Protection Agency standards, said Fire Chief Randee J.
