Byline: Michael Levine Daily Herald Staff Writer Hoffman Estates officials were poised this week to act on expansion plans presented by St. Alexius Medical Center. But they hit a stumbling block in the parking lot. At a meeting Tuesday night, the Hoffman Estates Zoning Board of Appeals deferred any decisions on the medical center's proposed renovations until its Feb.
