THE BRIEFS Rosemont man charged with child pornography, battery James E. Hilton, 33, of 9599 Maple Drive, Rosemont, has been charged with one count of possessing child pornography and one count of domestic battery after an investigation by the Rosemont and Des Plaines police departments.
A Cook County judge set bond for the charges at $75,000 and $5,000, respectively, at a Feb. 14 court date. Hilton, who recently lived in the 2200 block of Douglas Avenue in Des Plaines, is due back in the Skokie branch of Cook County Circuit Court on March 1. Police said they found numerous photos of children engaging in various sexual acts in Hilton's possession.
