Matthew J. Gimpert, son of Tari and Dennis Gimpert of Elgin, graduated with a medical doctorate from Rush Medical College in Chicago on June 9. Gimpert has accepted a residency appointment as a medicine internist at Washington University-Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He and his wife Jennifer will reside in St.
Louis. Gimpert earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997.
