- Pamela Bosanac of Carol Stream was named to the dean's list for the spring semester 2001 at Bradley University in Peoria. - Sumathi Thiyagarajan of Downers Grove graduated as a member of the university's Scholars Program at Benedictine University in Lisle. The program is designed to develop international awareness and leadership through special courses, study abroad and extracurricular activities.

- Mikaela Maughan, daughter of Onda and Michael Maughan and graduate of Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, received a Presidential Scholarship from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Ind.
