Yet Abbott Laboratories employee Sonja Cherry-Mendenhall does it often with her 3-year-old daughter Samantha. Having lunch with her daughter and reading books together are just some of the employee perks she enjoys at Libertyville Township-based Abbott, one of 13 area firms included on the Working Mothers magazine list of 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers.
