Police arrest employee in alleged store scam Carpentersville police Friday arrested a woman accused of stealing $12,348 from her employer over a period of 11 months by submitting false merchandise return receipts. Aimee M. Wagenecht, 20, of 4649 Karlov Ave. in Chicago was charged with felony theft, according to a police report.

Wagenecht, who was employed by Finlay Fine Jewelry at Carson Pirie Scott, 4000 Spring Hill Mall Road, would print false return receipts, according to the report. Another store employee discovered Wagenecht when she submitted a false return receipt, ...
