Senate hopefuls to debate today: All three Republican candidates vying for the U.S. Senate in the March 19 primary will face off tonight in a debate at the College of DuPage. The College Republicans Club is organizing and moderating the event from 7 to 9 p.m. between businessman John Cox of Chicago, who waged an unsuccessful bid for a congressional seat; state Rep.
Jim Durkin of Westchester; and James Oberweis, an Aurora businessman and political newcomer. The debate will be in Room 2800 in the Student Resource Center of the Glen Ellyn campus, Lambert Road and Fawell Boulevard. The audience will be allowed to ask questions.
