U.S. Senate hopefuls to debate today at COD All three Republican candidates vying for the U.S. Senate in the March 19 primary will face off tonight in a debate at the College of DuPage. The College Republicans Club will moderate the event, from 7 to 9 p.m. between businessman John Cox, of Chicago, who waged an unsuccessful bid for a congressional seat; state Rep.

Jim Durkin, of Westchester, and James Oberweis, an Aurora businessman and political newcomer.
