U.S. Senate hopefuls to debate today at COD All three Republican candidates vying for the U.S. Senate in the March 19 primary will face off tonight in a debate at the College of DuPage. The College Republicans Club will moderate the event, from 7 to 9 p.m. between businessman John Cox, of Chicago, who waged an unsuccessful bid for a congressional seat; state Rep.
Jim Durkin, of Westchester, and James Oberweis, an Aurora businessman and political newcomer. The debate will be in Room 2800 in the Student Resource Center of the Glen Ellyn campus, at Lambert Road and Fawell Boulevard.
