Byline: Max Seigle Daily Herald Staff Writer Through a zippered entrance, a select group of Cary students had a chance to see the world inside out last week. First- through sixth-graders at Three Oaks School toured the "Earth Balloon" last Thursday and Friday. The 20-foot canvas balloon invaded the school's gymnasium both days.

"The kids had a great time with it all levels," said Louise Dickey, the assistant principal at Three Oaks. "Just a lot of oohing and aahing as they walked in." The balloon, which takes less than 30 minutes to blow up, is hand-painted with all of the earth's continents, landforms and bodies of water.
