Nothing matches what terrorists have done For the last 30 years, I have fought to make certain that people who needed assistance in protecting their civil rights and liberties received such assistance and protection. I don't hesitate to speak out when I see injustice. I am a liberal Democrat who marched against our involvement in Vietnam, was conflicted about Desert Storm and voted for Al Gore.
I believe all people in this country are entitled to be free from harm, torture and be treated with respect. As I read the newspapers and watch televised news, I am unable to find empathy for the terrorist prisoners.
