Byline: Stefanie Pervos Student Council members at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire have found a way to use the many Homecoming dresses stocked up in their closets to help their community. The Annual Dress Drive held this past week is a four-year tradition at the school. It is sponsored by the Glass Slipper Foundation.
Used dresses and accessories, such as purses and shoes that were in fairly good condition, were sent to students in inner city schools they can have dresses for prom and other events. Sophomores Jillian Harris and Nina Kim headed the SHS committee of Student Council and were in charge of organizing this event.
