The two candidates running for the office of Palatine Township Democratic Committeeman have starkly different views on how well the Democratic Party is organized in this area. The candidates are incumbent James Sheehan and challenger Sue Walton. Q. Do you believe the Democratic Party in Palatine Township is in disarray? If so, how to you propose to unify the party? James Sheehan: The Palatine Township Democratic organization is the only Democratic organization in the Northwest suburbs that has had an office for over 12 years.
