Byline: Dave Boe Background: The front-wheel-drive Toyota Camry may have lost its tag line as "Best-selling car in America" during the 2001 calendar year, but it's poised to make a strong comeback in 2002. Camry held the best-selling title from 1997 until 2000. Toyota's most popular sedan lost its best-selling title last year to the mid-size Honda Accord, a worthy competitor.
Accord was the beneficiary a modest exterior redesign in 2001 and an assembly line retooling by Toyota in preparation for a major Camry update.
