There's no shortage of drama in the class-action lawsuit accusing a Lisle manufacturer of polluting private wells. And the federal case, scheduled to go to trial today, holds interest for legal experts as well as laymen.

"It's a fascinating case," said Bruce Ottley, a DePaul University College of Law professor. "But it's also pretty stereotypical of a lot of complex litigation today that brings science into the courtroom."
