Hundley apologizes for flippant gesture.(Sports)

Byline: Bruce Miles Daily Herald Sports Writer Todd Hundley was flipping mad during Wednesday's 8-6 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. As Hundley rounded first base after hitting a sixth-inning home run, an ESPN TV camera caught him making an obscene gesture in the direction of the visitors dugout on the first-base side.
The Reds were satisfied Thursday that Hundley wasn't aiming the gesture toward them. Hundley has been the target of Wrigley Field boo-birds since coming to the Cubs last season and struggling with his hitting. During the Cubs-White Sox series two weeks ago, Hundley said he no longer was taking the booing personally.
