Ford's Living Legend Tour hits the road.(Auto Plus)

Byline: Dave Boe This summer, Ford Motor Co. again sponsors its "Living Legends" Tour, a car-enthusiast-driven get-together criss-crossing the United States. The first Living Legends road show kicked off in 2001 in part to reintroduce the newly-designed, two-door Ford Thunderbird. The limited-edition Mustang Bullitt also joined the traveling show.

The tour popularity in 2001 inspired Ford to schedule a follow up session this summer. This year's event kicked off in Los Angeles the first weekend of June and continues each weekend at a different location, ending here in the Windy City the weekend of September 6 at a yet-to-be determined locale.
