New MRI supervisor on board: Condell Medical Center in Libertyville has appointed Robert Salzman of Wheeling as supervisor of the hospital's new magnetic resonance imaging unit, set to open in October. Salzman has 16 years of experience in radiology, including MRI. He previously supervised Evanston Northwestern Healthcare's MRI unit at Evanston Hospital.
Condell's newly expanded radiology department will feature a semi-open MRI machine and a PET scan device used to monitor cancers.
