Remotely interesting: The first round of the baseball playoffs will be divvied up between Fox Sports on WFLD Channel 32 and ABC Family, which inherited the rights to the games when Disney bought Fox Family Channel. You'd think they could find a way to transfer them to ESPN, but evidently not.
Then again, without the baseball playoffs, what cable subscriber would want ABC Family? They'll release the TV schedule next week after the games are set. ESPN Classic covers the annual induction ceremony at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame live from Springfield, Mass., at 6 p.m. today. Earvin "Magic" Johnson is among those entering the hall.
