She even named her stuffed Dalmatian "Sparky" and brought it to softball games last spring. Elk Grove High School fans know the three-year Daily Herald All- Area infielder has also spent a lot of time sparking the softball team, whether it's with her devastating speed, fine fielding or efficient bat.
Now Evans has decided where she will spend her college years. The Grenadiers' second baseman has made a verbal commitment to play softball for DePaul University and coach Eugene Lenti.
