One had great success followed by a long hiatus, the other more humble success and a short hiatus. Both are as cuddly as they are wacky. One just happens to be green. Kermit the Frog leads the long-awaited return of the Muppets in "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" at 7 p.m.
