I was able to squeeze in a nice ride three weekends ago when warm weather returned. I was treated to seeing a large buck on the Fox River Trail in St.
Charles, a stealth kingfisher perched over the river in Aurora, a nice new stretch of trail connecting Aurora to Oswego, and a red- tailed hawk west of Yorkville. Unfortunately, I then became a moving target for three different farm dogs as I rode towards DeKalb. One of these experiences in particular was very surreal.
