Don't let the doors close at St. Therese I am writing concerning the closing of St. Therese Medical Center in an attempt to consolidate to one hospital in Waukegan - Victory Memorial Hospital. St. Therese cares for the largest number of patients on a daily basis in Lake County. Will surrounding hospitals have the capacity and training to provide these patients with the same level of care that they received at St.

Therese? Imagine Lake County without St. Therese. Residents of Waukegan, North Chicago, Gurnee and other surrounding areas would have to seek health care elsewhere. Where will they go? Some may go to Victory Memorial, while others will seek care at Lake Forest Hospital and Condell Medical Center. Eventually, there may be an option for these...
