Ultimate Wish Gymnastics Classic.(Neighbor)

The St. Charles Gymnastics Club competed Dec. 7 at the Ultimate Gymnastics Club in Gurnee along with 16 other teams from Illinois and Ohio. This was Ultimate Gymnastics' fourth annual meet, an event that raises money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. They were able to grant three "wishes" with the money raised during the weekend.

The St. Charles Level 7 team brought home first place and the Level 5 girls took second place. Emily Abramowski and Jessica Staples, both Level 8 competitors, also competed, but needed a third girl to capture any team awards. Emily finished third All-Around with a total score of 34.925. She placed first on beam (9.075), third on bars (9.0), fourth on vault (8.475) and sixth on floor (8.375). Jessica had a 34.375 AA for a fifth...
